This is a bit late but...114 Final Animation
This is my final animation for ANI 114. It was challenging but as I worked on it, I began to care a lot about this little sack :)

Learning Photoshop 01.08.2012 - Can Opener
A study of a Can opener... I wish I could've worked faster. This took about 3 hours to do. It was challenging but fun at the same time. I think the hardest thing for me is to figure out a good work process since I'm not used to photoshop painting yet.

Some 113B stuffs :)
I should have posted this a while ago. These are some of my works from my 113B class. We had to paint two forests. One is a day scene while the other one is a night scene. They were really fun but challenging for me to do at the same time. However, I definitely learned a lot from the experience.

Flair Gun!! Beginning Maya
Some Maya work...
This semester I'm taking a beginning maya class. I really had fun with it. I've never really done maya before this semester and I definitely learnt a lot.
As an aspiring visual development artist, I realize how important it is to know how to use 3D programs. Maya really helps in making us think and draw in 3D instead of just 2D lines.
Here's some example of my work. This flair gun is a semester long project. My most favorite part of the process would definitely be texturing.
These photos are not the final presentation, still need to tweak the lighting until finals.

It's been a while. Here's some speedies
I have been trying to learn how to paint in photoshop. I would have to say what I struggle with the most is to keep the painting away from being too mushy. I'm still not used to it, but, nevertheless it's really fun. It's such a good stress reliever from my classes. Currently, I am taking classes for maya modeling and traditional animation.
Here's a Sargent copy I did today in photoshop:

How to make it more "painterly" and less "photoshoppy" ?
Gotta practice more!!!!
